Ballet Classes

GIRLS:

* Ballet Tutu/dress or
* Leotard & Skirt (required for pre-primary and primary ballet)
* Leotard & stockings (No skirt in class for Grade 1 & up)
* Ballet stockings or white/ballet socks (thicker stockings can be worn in cooler months)
* Pink leather ballet shoes (Please purchase from a dance store)
* A crossover wrap or one of our studio jackets can be worn in cooler months

* RAD classes Grade 1 & up: 

Character Shoes & Skirt.

 

BOYS

* Petite B or plain T-shirt (long sleeve can be worn underneath in cooler months)
* Black long bike shorts, tights or dance pants
* Black leather ballet or jazz shoes (Please purchase from a dance store)

Jazz & Musical Theatre classes

​

GIRLS

​

* A leotard with dance shorts/leggings worn to each class

* A crossover wrap can be worn in cooler months

* Jazz shoes or Leather ballet shoes for preschoolers (Please purchase from a proper dance store)

BOYS

​

* A t-shirt with black long bike shorts or dance pants (something comfortable to move in) are best to wear to each class

* Jazz shoes or leather ballet flats (preschoolers)

Contemporary classes

​

GIRLS

​

* Bare feet OR toe undies

* Leotard with convertible stockings rolled up

* Bike shorts or Leggings can be worn on top of leotard.

* A crossover wrap or one of our studio jackets can be worn in cooler months.

BOYS

​

* A t-shirt with black long bike shorts or dance pants (something comfortable to move in) are best to wear to each class

* Bare feet, Socks or toe undies

​

Hair

Should always be tied back neatly off the face!

Petites: Tie as much up as possible.

If hair is longer then the shoulders please tie up in a neat ponytail or bun.

RAD Ballet: Hair should be in a ballet bun (short hair should be tied up as much as possible.

 

All other classes: Should always be tied back neatly off the face!

What to dress your child in for their first lesson

​

Please dress your child in comfortable clothing and a pair of socks ready to dance :)

Of course if they have a tutu skirt or favourite dress up costume that will have them all excited for their first lesson, that's ok too

Please dress in comfortable clothing and enclosed shoes or socks :)
